Accommodations
Koh Phangan, Thailand is considered to be a treasure destination off the beaten path. While preserving its abundant jungle, fauna and flora many of its secluded beaches offer an escape from stress and the high-paced modern lifestyle. Accessible primarily by boat year round, the tri-bay area of Haad Yuan, Haad Thien, and Haad Why Nam offer a serene getaway with a wide range of accommodation options for all budget types. From simple, rustic bungalows to mid-range comfortable living, and from funky upscale cottages to exclusive villa resort living, these 3 beautiful bays provide for all.
The Blooming Lotus Yoga Studio is situated upon a jungle hilltop, overlooking the crystal blue ocean waters, in between Haad Yuan & Haad Tien Bays and easily accessible by foot from Why Nam Bay. Students joining us at Blooming Lotus Yoga will need to secure accommodations on one of these 3 bays.
The Yoga Teacher Training tuition does not include accommodation & food. You can budget between $12- 40 USD/day for food…and anywhere from $3-120 USD/night for accommodation. Realistically, for those on a budget, you can plan to spend from $20-35 USD/day on accommodations & food.
- Reserving accommodations is typically done on arrival, with the exception of the more upscale resorts that offer on-line booking. All resorts secure their livelihood through their adjoining restaurants and as such require that all guests eat at least one meal a day at their respective resort.
- We encourage all of our students to arrive a few days prior to the Yoga Teacher Training to secure their own accommodations. This allows students a wider variety of accommodations options as well as the freedom to choose which resort suits them best.
- For our Yoga Teacher Training students we also have the unique privilege to reserve a limited number of rooms at the following resorts, based upon availability. For us to make these special reservations on your behalf the resorts require a minimum of one months notice, a commitment to stay for 2-4 weeks & a non-refundable deposit based on respective resort policies.
